Hiya Eid Celebrations 2023

In a vibrant celebration of Eid in Hiya, the community came together to rejoice and honor this auspicious occasion.

The event was organized by TheCommoners in collaboration with the State Trading Organization (STO) , JCI Maldives and SanguTv media channel.

This collaborative effort ensured a memorable and entertaining experience for everyone involved.

As part of their support for the event, STO provided TheCommoners with a generous assortment of gifts to be distributed among the children. The aim was to bring smiles to the faces of young ones and make their Eid festivities even more special.

TheCommoners, in turn, partnered with SanguTv to organize a talent show event that would showcase the skills and abilities of the children.

The event proved to be a platform where children could shine and display their talents on live television. From heartwarming renditions of traditional "Madhaha" songs to lively performances of children's songs in different languages, the young participants mesmerized the audience with their talent and enthusiasm.

The diversity of talents was truly remarkable, as children showcased various skills including singing, dancing, recitations, and much more.

Leading the show were the esteemed SanguTv presenters, Maathu and Madhadhaa, who brought their vibrant energy and charisma to the event. Their warm hosting style made everyone feel at ease and added an extra layer of excitement to the show. They engaged with the children, encouraging and appreciating their efforts, which further enhanced the overall experience.

Approximately 150 children eagerly took part in showcasing their talents on live TV. The atmosphere was filled with anticipation and support as each participant took their turn on stage, performing with confidence and joy. The children's performances were met with applause and admiration from the audience, creating a sense of pride and accomplishment.

The event not only provided a platform for young talents to shine but also rewarded their efforts with STO gift packs. Each child who showcased their talent received a token of appreciation from STO, adding a delightful surprise to their Eid celebrations. The gift packs served as a symbol of encouragement and recognition for the children's hard work and dedication.
